Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Winemaker Andrea Kaiser of Drea’s Winery in Niagara made this Sauvignon Blanc as a nod to her late father, Karl Kaiser, former co-founder of Inniskillan Winery.
The 2019 grape growing season had a bit of a wet and cool start with grapes getting a slower than normal jump on the season, but a warm and dry August and September allowed for a consistent ripening of the fruit, allowing fruitier flavours to come through, especially in unique varietals such as Dornfelder, used in this Rosé.

Aromas of strawberry-rhubarb pie dance in the glass, transforming into a delightfully balanced mouthfeel, with a persistent cranberry flavour.
Perfect with a roasted ham or lighter goat cheese salads.
Tasted May 2021.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A richly coloured rose made from Dornfelder. Aromas of strawberry, raspberry and ripe cranberry, with a hint of lime. Medium bodied, and tons of cranberry on the palate with hints of citrus on the finish. Enjoy with summer salads topped with a raspberry vinaigrette.
