Field raspberries and strawberries with some terrific acidity for food. Dry, crisp finish. Great aperitif or companion to seafood and roast chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Bethann McLaren rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Delicious, intense, full-bodied, rosé. Lots of ripe strawberry and red cherry, with layers of stoney minerality and herbaceousness balancing the fruit. Dry and crisp with refreshing acidity. Complex, well-balanced and well-priced. Stock up for summer!
A Southern Rhône beauty worthy of Tavel’s reputation for wines favoured by Louis XIV. Forward aromas of red pepper jelly, red fruit, melon and peach with a subtle sprinkling of herbs adding nuance. Big, robust, and flavourful with lovely Red Delicious apple making an appearance. The finish is tangy and layered. If you are thinking Maby – then yes, certainly you should. Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
