This clean, crisp white wine comes to us from Guy Mothe et Ses Fils, prop.-récolt. Bright and vibrant aromas of lemon zest and white grapefruit. Terrific mouth-watering acidity for a variety of dishes. Not a trace of oak on this Old World Chardonnay. Classic and amazingly well-priced. This lemon-infused Chardonnay offers tremendous enjoyment, along with deep veins of minerality and zest. Try this ultra fresh wine with freshly caught haddock or sole. This vibrant northern French white wine from the Burgundian region of Chablis, has lots of racy acidity and a lime citrus zest on the finish.

Chablis food pairings: scallops with a sesame ginger dressing, grilled seafood, spinach and pepper jack stuffed chicken, beef bourguignon, cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

There is not a trace of oak or wood on this Old World Chardonnay. The Burgundian Chablis (2014) from Chablis is light with a zingy acidity and citrus layers. Domaine du Colombier has been a family business since 1887. When Guy Mothe took over the property in 1957, the focus was on making Chablis. Now, his three sons Jean Louis, Thierry and Vincent operate 51 hectares of vineyards. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
