Julia Kelada rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

I am a red wine drinker, simple.....but all of a sudden, out of the blue, maybe a sunny sky and a feeling of joke de vive...I crave rosé! I don't want sickly, sweet pop...I want a wine that's light yet has impact... Let me introduce Tavel!

It wasn't a particularly hot day, but a gathering of the hockey fans drinking beer in my living room drove me to indulge in a rosé...and if I may be blunt, it went straight to my head, hence there may be typos in my review, and I shan't excuse myself as it was.......Delicious!

I'm to we'll versed in rosé reviews, that i i am goign to review  from the heart instead of from  my bank of limited knowledge!

The colour is darker than most of the other rosés on the shelf.

On the nose there are the expected strawberries then red currants to calm the sweetness down with notes of orange peel and thyme then a quick punch of caramel......interesting!

On the mouth.....strawberries, raspberries , red currants, then a mineral undertone before a floral bouquet of rose and lavender stepped forward. This is a full bodied wine and the delicious end spicey notes ere quite delicious with nutmeg and pepper. This wine is dry and full bodied yet fruity and refreshing, what a wondrous discovery!

Bottoms up!

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
