A full-bodied, robust red with black fruit and toasty oak aromas. Excellent price. The 2012 vintage of the Concha Y Toro Serie Riberas Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is a balanced and well-structured Chilean red wine. It finishes nicely with notes of vanillin and cedar brush. Polished tannins, but still could benefit from 1 hour decanting. Pair with a pepperoni pizza.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: beef enchiladas, barbecued ribs in sauce, hamburger, hard cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Fav Wines rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This full bodied Red is a winner in my book. Aromas of smoke, plum and cherry can easily be detected. A well balanced wine with a nice cherry and spice flavour. A great Red to serve at your next family gathering. Cheers!
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This full-bodied wine has ripe dark berry flavours overs layers of spice. With medium plus ripe tannins this Cabernet Sauvignon refreshes on the finish.
Pair with grilled beef or lamb.
Drink now, or cellar until 2017.
Date tasted: January 2015.
