A remarkably well-priced Bordeaux wine featuring aromas of blackcurrant and tart dark berries with smoke. Full-bodied with a frim tannic grip so decant 1-2 hours. Since 1832, seven generations of the Carreau family have farmed 202 acres of vineyards. Pair with a rare steak.

Food pairings: grilled flat iron steaks, pork chops in a savoury sauce, tourtière.

From the Côtes De Bordeaux - Blaye, Château Cône-Taillasson Sabourin 2015 is spicy medium-plus-bodied 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon red wine blend with full-on black cherry and spicy flavours on the palate. Could benefit from some cellar time to come together. Drink from 2020. Pair with aged cheeses. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
