Reviews and Ratings

Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A great value Mâcon over delivering at its price point. Mâcon first became popular for being "poor man's Burgundy". The Mâconnais is in the southern part of Burgundy and can deliver classic Chardonnay at a fraction of the Côte D'Or prices. This one delivered a lovely flinty character with fresh apples and crisp pear, with a delicate buttery influence from the oak. About 40% of the barrels were new and the wine was aged 12-18 months. A classy wine. For Burgundy lovers on a budget. Try it with Donna Hay's garlic confit chicken with bread sauce

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
