This Californian sparkling wine producer is owned by one of Champagne's most revered wineries, Moët & Chandon, the same house that makes top-of-the-line Dom Pérignon. Chandon is actually no newcomer to the scene having been founded in the 1970s, and the first winery to make sparkling wine using the traditional Champagne method (Méthode Traditionelle). Blanc De Noirs This bubbly offers terrific value for the money; a great bottle to serve at small or larger gatherings given its taste: price ratio. Crisp, clean and dry with aromas of green apple and baked bread. Terrific!

Blanc de Pinot Noir Sparkling food pairings: lightly spiced curry dishes, lamb stew, white turkey meat, fried chicken, fish tacos.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Dry, refreshing, slightly Tart citrus zest, almond croissant, limestone minerality. Well balanced, integrated. Traditional Method. Tasting well on its own and paired wonderfully with a Belizian fried fish taco. 91 Points. BespokeTastings
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A pale gold coloured sparkler with a pink hue and fine bubbles. An blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier with aromas of peachy red apples, lemon zest, rose florals and minerals with abundant biscuit qualities. Flavours complement with red currant, pear and bright citrus with a creamy mouthfeel. Enjoy with smoked salmon canapes and soft cheeses.
