Reviews and Ratings

Miguel Torres / RESERVA / OTHER: A new launch here, the 2014 Celeste Reserva is Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero with a longer aging in barrel to achieve the official Reserva status. Despite its alcohol and concentration, the wine feels quite fresh, and the 15 months in French and American oak seems to have done it good. A textbook example of the nicely crafted and reliable style of reds from Torres with the local accent of the region. Drink date: 2018-2021. Score - 90 (Luis GutiƩrrez, robertparker.com, Aug. 31, 2018). - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
