A gorgeous big, buttery Chardonnay that still has magnificent balance and elegance. A chardonnay lover's chardonnay. Layers of luscious flavour: golden apple, toffee and smoke. Pair with lobster in melting butter or crab leg.

Chardonnay food pairings: pork tenderloin and applesauce, Caesar salad, cold turkey sandwiches.

Reviews and Ratings

Benchbreak (2014) is a Santa Maria Valley Chardonnay in the northernmost appellation of Santa Barbara County Fog-cooled vineyards and a mix of diverse soils are ideally suited here for both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varietals . You can expect this wine to offer impressive citrus and peach tones with excellent balance and poise. Typically crafted in an elegant and silky style, this will be great with grilled lobster (Vintages Panel, updated). - Community Wine Reviews
