A luscious and supple BC red wine made from the Gamay Noir grape, which has greater depth than Gamay alone. This wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks then aged for 10 months in four-year-old French oak barrels. Aromas of fleshy ripe blackberries and plums. Pair with grilled lamb.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Gamay Noir from Blue Mountain Vineyards from the Okanagan Valley. An impressive amount of juicy blue fruit. Ripe blueberries, cassis, plums and a balanced hint of fine funky forest fox. I really love that gamey note tucked away in there. Flavours flow with cherry, prunes and touch of roasted red bell pepper and sweet rust. An excellent example of Gamay from this region. This is a stellar pairing match for herbed local Pacific Salmon cooked cooked smoked. 90 points - tasted March 2018

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
