Such a fabulous Chardonnay, and this isn't their reserve - save us! This family winery is nestled in the southern Okanagan Valley by Vaseux Lake. About a third of this wine is fermented in stailess steel, the rest in wood then aked in French oak for less than a year. Aromas of butterscotch, toffee, smoke, golden apple, Asian pear and orchard happiness. Pair with roast chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: roast chicken, crab cakes with lemon garlic aioli, fish tacos.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Lovely and so well balanced. Aromas of golden apple and pear, along with cedar smoke, and hints of warm caramel. Medium+ body, smooth on the plate, with lots of orchard fruit and some honey and smoke on the finish. Enjoy with chicken done with any citrus marinades or seasonings, or some nice brie cheese.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
