Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

This has to be the wow wine of the week at this price, I found an under $20 wine that I LOVE!

On the nose there is an abundance of cherries, raspberries, blueberries and balsamic vinegar.
The marriage of these ingredients opens up the taste buds ready to be impressed and I'm happy to say they live up to my high expectation!
On the palate there are tart cherries then plums and strawberry jam. There is a delightful intense wood and spice note which leads into a delicate hint on anise then a grand finale of licorice. The tannins reveal a gentle finish after the succulent ride!

Bottoms up!

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

I've discovered many new wines this week and this was another fabulous find. The Barsao Berola is smooth and full-bodied with gorgeous flavors of ripe dark fruit, vanilla, pepper and hints of oak that do not over-power the wine. The Grenache, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon blend makes for rich fruit, good structure, and spicy finishes. A great BBQ wine.
