Produced by iconic Chardonnay and Pinot Noir producer, Thomas Bachelder, Bachelder L'ardoise 2019 is a full-bodied, beautifully-balanced buttery Chard with pinpoint acidity. Fresh on the nose with spring florals, luxurious and silky smooth on the palate with ripe peach, pear, bright apple, vanilla and mineral notes. Chill and enjoy on its own or with roast Cornish game hens. Amazing value at $25.

Chardonnay food pairings: tuna steaks, swordfish, turkey dinner, chicken breast.

Reviews and Ratings

Produced by Thomas Bachelder, Bachelder L'ardoise 2019 is a dry and medium-bodied blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced from various old vine sites in Niagara. Look for baked apple, leesy and baking spice aromas mirrored on the palate and balanced with fresh acidity. Finishes long with a kiss of toasty oak. Chill and enjoy with seafood chowders. - Community Wine Reviews
