Reviews and Ratings

Tania Thomas - CSW, WSET ADV rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This amazing value, truly delicious Mediterranean red is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Crafted by the “Humble winemaker”, Jean-Claude Mas, with the grapes harvested from the hillsides of the five main valleys of the Languedoc region in the sunny south. Fruit-driven and beautifully balanced, it delivers aromas and flavors of ripe cherries, dark plums and blackberries with a touch of rosemary. Tobacco leaf and a hint of vanilla linger on a long finish. Great companion to red meat or game dishes and a fantastic finish to a meal with a chocolate dessert. As this great value wine’s witty label says: “Explore what a prince this frog can be”!

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
