Smoky, full-bodied and rich: this Greek white wine made from the classic Assyrtiko grape is outstanding! Mouth-watering acidity perfect for seafood. Medium-bodied. The wine was fermented in 100% stainless steel. The grapes grow on 80-100 year-old ungrafted vines in Episkopi and Pyrgos. There are 4,000 hectares on vines planted in volcanic and sandy soil.

Assyrtiko food pairings: grilled fish, shellfish hot pot, grilled calamari.

Lots of lime and lemon zest, ripe pears and a salty tank on this zesty white wine made from the Assyrtiko wine grape from the Santorini wine region. Argyros 2016 is made for grilled calamari with its zesty citrus finish. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
