Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

When I asked the question to my sommelier as to if this was my type of wine, his eyes rolled in adoration of the bottle he was holding in his hand.....
The colour is deep, rich and enticing. On the nose mellow warm vanilla, cherries, buttery plums and a slight floral undertone.
Now let's be very, very serious...the taste...we are not even going to insult this wine by saying anything other than....wow! Intense mocha, ripe cherries, bay leaves, there is almost a smooth glycerine texture as the wine builds up character, subtle blueberries, then leather and pepper... Oh the spice as the wine builds up to its dry lengthy tannic finish.
I am almost speechless to finish, but do not consider this wine if you don't like a wine that will leave you breathless , that's leaves you wanting more and that leaves you mowing that you will always crave a desirable wine!!!!

Bottoms up!

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
