Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

As my horizons are broadening, so are the regions of my discoveries. Whites are my new found love on these hot, sultry summer days were having. Usually I am drawn to Californian or to Italian whites but my friendly local sommelier suggested one of her favourites, and boy does she have good taste!

On the nose there were buttered, baked pears, caramel and vanilla.

On the palate, oh what an explosion of flavours. Tones of peach cobbler covered In a maple, caramel sauce, smooth and well balanced, a crisp and clean wine releasing buttery pears and apricots. The fruits give way to mineral notes and a surprisingly spicey tone of white pepper. This is a medium dry wine with a good depth of flavours. I give this wine a 94 and suggest fish dishes of all kinds would be perfect including a night of sushi.

Bottoms up!

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
