George Clooney at Colchester Ridge Estate Winery? Who knew? Amazing fun facts you can find out when talking about Essex County Wineries! This winery welcomed a visit from the actor himself after dining at a local restaurant serving Crew wine. Which one did he buy? Time for a road trip to find out! We enjoyed Crew Cabernet Franc 2008 (available in LCBO in January) with cedar planked Canadian Atlantic sugar and spice salmon as an aperitif . An excellent match! A fruit and nut salad from Chatelaine magazine accompanied Crew Riesling 2010. Both premium quality award wining wines!
