Aromas of fleshy dark plums on the nose that follow through on the palate. Perfectly integrated oak with great mouth-watering juiciness for food, from grilled steak to pork chops. Bodegas Muriel Reserva 2008, Rioja D.O.C.A., Spain: This lovely Spanish red wine is dusty and earthy with great structure, but it's not fruity in the least. Just a faint hint of dried blackberry on this Rioja red wine. Also dried herbs and an almost chalky finish in an attractive way. This full-bodied Spanish red wine is made from all Tempranillo.
