St. Hubertus Pinot Blanc 2012, Okanagan Valley, Canada  12% D  $16.00. March 1, 2012 Full Review
Cousiño Macul Antiguas Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2005, Maipo Valley, Chile: Harvested at physiological maturity when the tannins are ripe and soft, the fruit is given a gentle cold-soak to extract flavor. Cousino's vineyards are located in the Alto-Maipo, the area of the Maipo Valley closest to the Andes where certain sites benefit from the "Andes Effect." This refers to the cooling mountain air that descends during the evenings to create a wide range in daily temperature. The Andes effect encourages slow, incremental sugar development which contributes to color intensity, aroma profiles, excellent retention of natural fruit acidity and ripe tannin. Aged 12 months in small French oak barrels. This red is 100% cabernet sauvignon. A terrific, full-bodied wine with layers of dark red fruit. 212933 14% D 750 mL  $15.35 Score: 88/100. Riesling Qba Bernkastel - Muller Bishop Of Riesling, Germany  11%  750 mL  $11.99. March 1, 2012 Full Review
Dr. Loosen Dr. L Riesling 2010, Qualitätswein, Mosel, Germany: Vintages Wine Panel: Dr. L is the exceptional entry-level Mosel Riesling made by the dynamic Ernst Loosen. If you are a Riesling newbie, this is an excellent place to begin. It shows all the bright fruitiness and refreshing acidity one should expect from the grape. Wrapped up in a very easy-drinking style, it can be enjoyed as a sipper or as a very versatile food partner. My note: This is a favourite of so many people I know and for good reason: packed with flavour, floral notes and melon essence. Light- to medium-bodied and low in alcohol. Drink: 2011-2014. 599274 8.50% MD 750 mL  $14.95 Score: 88/100. October 29, 2011 Best Value White Wine. Full Review
Loosen Bros. Dr. L Riesling 2013, Mosel, Germany: Love it! There's simply no better value white wine on the shelf. Lime blossom gorgeous. The alcohol is refreshingly low, yet this is no wimpy wine: it's packed with flavour. Perfect as an aperitif or companion to many dishes. Some terrific white pear and lime blossom on the finish of this Qualitätswein (Q.B.A.) wine. Try it with just about anything, but start with seafood or a medium curry. Winemaker Ernie Loosen makes a range of wines, and this is his entry-level offering. It's spectacular for the price. Drink: 2013-2018. 599274 8.50% MS 750 mL  $16.95 Score: 90/100. April 18, 2015 Best Value White Wine. Spectacular Spicy Wine Full Review
Charles Smith Kung Fu Girl Riesling 2011, Evergreen Vineyard, Columbia Valley, Washington State, United States: Lovely and light with a lime-petrol intensity and a white floral finish. Washington is renowned for its Riesling. Try this one. I always smile when I see the name of this wine. Fortunately, it lives up to its name: it's zesty, lively and offers a great one-two kick on the finish. Ka-pow! Drink: 2012-2018. 394759 13% M 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 90/100.
