Torres Perpetual 2010, Priorat D.O.C.A., Spain: Whispers mocha espresso on the nose from oak aging, followed by a full whistle stop of fleshy blackberry aromas. This robust red wine is a blend of Garnacha and Carinena grapes planted in licorella slate soils on steep hillsides. Sounds like a lot of hot, back-breaking work to pick these suckers.
