La Posta Pizzella Family Vineyard (Ed Lehrman And Nick Ramkowsky) Malbec 2011, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina: Dark, savoury, meaty and full-bodied. This is a terrific wine for rich and flavourful meaty dishes. Heart of darkness wine with a golden-good price. Dried herbs and spices on the finish. Love that the grapes all come from local growers. This La Posta is more robust than the winery's Angel Paulucci red wine. Drink: 2012-2015. 166298 13.50% D 750 mL  $15.95 Score: 89/100. September 28, 2013 Best Beef Wine Full Review
Kilikanoon Wines The Lackey Shiraz 2010, South Australia, Australia: Rich and full-bodied with classic Aussie Shiraz character. Big black fruit, a hint of mint and a savoury depth. Incredibly great price. The Lackey represents terrific value in this producer's line-up. There's some lovely blackberry, cassis and spice on the finish. Highly recommended. Drink: 2012-2015. 5199 14% XD 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 91/100. July 6, 2013 Best Value Red Wine. Plush Pork Wine Full Review
Château Cantelaudette Cuvée Prestige J. M. Chatelier Meritage 2010, A.C., Graves De Vayres, Bordeaux, France: Generous oak on the nose that's very attractive. Fleshy black fruit follows on the palate with more smoke and toasty oak. Full-bodied and layered. Incredible price for Bordeaux. Try it with rare steak or roast beef. Drink: 2013-2017. 336123 14% XD 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 90/100. July 6, 2013 Best Value Red Wine. Best Beef Wine Full Review
