Zolo Fincas Patagonicas Torrontés 2010, Mendoza, Argentina: Vintages Wine Panel: The aromatic Torrontés is quickly becoming Argentina’s flagship white grape. Look for pretty aromas of pear, peach, apricot and citrus. Dry and very flavourful, this sprightly wine is a fine choice. My note: Trust me, you haven’t lived until you’ve tried Torrontes, the grape. This is a wonderful interpretation of peachy-floral splendor. Ignore the price as it’ll bias you because it’s so low. Drink: 2011-2014. 183913 13.60% D 750 mL $13.25 Score: 90/100. September 3, 2011
