Michele Chiarlo Le Orme Barbera D'asti 2020, Piedmont D.O.C.G., Italy: From the Piedmont wine region, Michele Chiarlo Le Orme 2020 Barbera D'asti is fragrant with pink florals, violets, raspberry, cherry and savoury herb flavours vibrant and juicy on the palate. The wine spent 16 months mellowing and ageing in French oak casks prior to bottling and release. Excellent value at $16, on a wine classified at the DOCG level.
