Produced by Laura Cantena, the wine is dry, medium-bodied, vibrant and silky with ripe blackberry, plum, dried florals, toasty spice and smoky flavours with a lingering spicy finish. Produced from sustainably grown grapes sourced from a 50-year-old vineyard in the Guaymallén zone and about 750 metres above sea level. Viu Manent Secreto Sauvignon Blanc 2022, Casablanca Valley, Chile: Viu Manent Gran Reserva Secreto 2022 Sauvignon Blanc is great value at $16. Dry, medium-bodied and fresh on the nose with asparagus, fine herb, lemon zest, pineapple and mineral notes vibrant on the palate. The grapes for this vintage came from two vineyards; one near the town of Casablanca and the other in the Las Dichas sector, about 11 kilometres from the sea.
