Sweet, with ample acidity providing balance. The aromas replay on the palate with notes of sweet baking spices on the long finish. Delectable on its own. My note: Luscious, pure luscious! Piemonte Cantina San Pancrazio Brachetto 2008, D.O.C., Piedmont, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: This exotic sparkling red from Piedmont couples well with strawberry tart or dark chocolate. My note: What a delightful surprise! Lovely notes of fleshy ripe strawberries and raspberries with a light effervescence. Slightly sweet but perfectly balanced with the bubbles and acidity.
