Sella & Mosca Riserva Cannonau di Sardegna, Sardinia D.O.C., Italy: Sella & Mosca Riserva Cannonau di Sardegna, Sardinia, Italy is a bold and characterful red made from the island’s signature Cannonau grape, known elsewhere as Grenache. It opens with mature aromas of violet, ripe plum, blackcurrant and jam, layered with notes of spice and Mediterranean herbs. The palate is medium to full-bodied, dry and well-structured, showing warm dark fruit, balsamic hints and subtle toasted oak, with balanced acidity leading to a long, gently spiced finish at around 13.5 to 14% alcohol. Fascinating fact: Cannonau is one of the oldest grape varieties in the Mediterranean and is deeply tied to Sardinian culture, where it thrives in coastal winds and rocky soils that give the wine its distinctive herbal and savoury character. Serve it at cool room temperature. Drink: 2025-2027. 425488 14% XD 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 90/100. August 15, 2025 Best Value Red Wine. Full Review
Sebastiani Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, Sonoma County, California, United States: Bold aromas of black fruit and tar on the nose, with full-bodied layers of blackberries and dark spices on the palate. Nicely crafted, but not for the timid. This Cabernet also has a dash of Malbec, Merlot, Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot in the blend for extra dimension and nuance. Juicy and mouth-watering. Great balance and nice finish. Great dinner party wine. Drink: 2017-2023. 640573 13.50% D 750 mL  $29.95 Score: 92/100. June 24, 2017 Top Rated Red Wine. Plush Pork Wine Full Review
