Faustino V Reserva 2005, D.O.C.A., Rioja, Spain: Vintages Wine Panel: Vanilla, currant, plum, wood and leather notes rise from the glass. The palate is dry and velvety with lovely earth, dark fruit and wood notes with a very nice length. This Tempranillo blend will prove a wonderful match for many foods. This wine will drink beautifully today but will also reward a further 3-5 years in your cellar. My note: Leather, dried herbs and Old World maturity. Full-bodied and smooth.
