I went in with some misconceptions as to just what this Italian bubbly would be and was pleasantly dispelled. Toasty like champagne, robust and frothy with a terrific refreshment on the finish. Green apple brightness mid-palate. Pair with potato chips. This is a vibrant blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Nero aka Pinot Noir.
