Terrazas de los Andes Reserva Malbec 2013, Mendoza, Argentina: A rich, luscious, full-bodied Argentine Malbec with classic aromas of fleshy ripe black plum and mulberry. Some dark spice on the finish which is long and satisfying. A meaty, savoury mid-palate with a strong core of minerality. Pair with a rare filet mignon. Drink: 2015-2021. 29280 14% D 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 92/100. January 31, 2016 Best Value Red Wine. Voluptuous Veal Wine Full Review

Château Des Moines Henri Darnajou Et Frères, Prop. Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2008, A.C., Lalande-De-Pomerol, Bordeaux, France: Vintages Wine Panel: The Darnajou family has been operating their vineyard since the 1940s, making Bordeaux reds of very fine quality. Leading with a floral nose with a hint of mocha, this Merlot-based Right Bank beauty exudes plenty of fresh fruit. Plum, cassis, bell pepper and creamy vanilla revisit the palate in waves. A medium-bodied wine with good acidity and length. My note : Superbly made for this price! The oak on the nose is beautifully integrated with classic Bordeaux aromas of cassis, blackcurrant and blackberries. Terrific structure and balance with a long finish. Definitely needs cellar time. Drink: 2013-2018. 206789 12.90% XD 750 mL  $24.95 Score: 90/100. February 5, 2011 Full Review

Remo Farina Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso 2013, Veneto D.O.C., Italy: Juicy, robust and vibrant: a terrific wine especially at this price point. Aromas of black fleshy ripe blackberries, black plums and some dark spice. Almost reminds me of Californian Zinfandel but with a darker undertone. Perfect for grilled meats and barbecue. Drink: 2014-2018. 999946 13% D 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 91/100. December 12, 2015 Best Value Red Wine. Profound Pasta and Cream Sauce Wine Full Review
Graham Beck The Game Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, Robertson, Western Cape W.O., South Africa: An attractive rich deep red hue in the glass. Aromas of dark spice and blackberry from start to finish. The former name of this wine was The Gamekeeper’s Reserve, but the wine remains as great as ever. Long finish infused with cedar smoke. Lovely cedar-rich, mint, blackberry aromas on the nose of this robust, deep red wine. Full-bodied and smooth with a kick that keeps you coming back to the glass. Pair with reading the book Out of Africa. Drink: 2014-2018. 2519 14% D 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 90/100. February 8, 2016 Best Value Red Wine. Luscious Lamb Wine Full Review
The Dreaming Tree Crush Red 2013, North Coast, California, United States: Fleshy ripe purple and black plums and blackberry preserves on the finish. Luscious, full-bodied, smooth and juicy.
