Andre Blanck Et Ses Fils Altenburg Gewurztraminer 2015, Alsace A.C., France: Mouth-filling and viscous. Here's a terrific example of a medium-sweet Gewurztraminer that would be divine with a spice-inflected fruit-based dessert. Come-alive notes of peach jam and baking spices. Gorgeously rich and concentrated with cinnamon-spiced peach preserves and spicy apple pie aromas. Drink: 2016-2022. 168906 13.50% M 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 92/100. Bischoflichen Weinguter Dom Riesling 2014, Mosel, Germany: Wow this wine combines racy acidity with natural fruit sweetness in perfect balance. Lime blossom, honeydew and lemongrass. Very exciting and food friendly. The bracing acidity means that this wine doesn't really taste as sweet as it is technically in the medium sweet category. It's more off dry perceptually and therefore will pair well with less sweet desserts such as biscotti and a fruit cobbler, as well as main dishes with some sweetness such as chutney and glazed ham. Drink: 2016-2021. 359596 9.50% MS 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 92/100. April 25, 2017 Best Value White Wine. Divine Dessert Wine Full Review
Louis Guntrum Oppenheim Herrenberg Riesling Auslese 2015, Rheinhessen Qualitätswein, Germany: The lovely 2015 vintage of the Oppenheim Herrenberg Riesling Auslese features aromas of apple blossom, lime zest and white peach. A vibrant streak of acidity provides perfect balance to the natural sweetness of this wine. Pair with a glazed ham and chutney. Drink: 2020-2033. 987909 7.70% S 750 mL  $149.00 Score: 92/100. Beringer Cabernet Sauvignon 2011, Napa Valley, California, United States: Mocha, coffee and toasty oak on the nose of this terrific Californian red open up to fleshy black fruit on the palate. Layered complexity and satisfaction. This robust red is a blend is 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% each Petit Verdot and Merlot grapes. Beringer is a benchmark producer in the Napa Valley, all price points and offers a wide range of styles. Try this with filet mignon. Balanced and restrained for full-bodied California Cabernet. Classic; a diplomat of wines. In 1876 the Beringer Brothers established their winery in Napa Valley. The winery practises sustainable farming. Pair with kobe beef. Drink: 2014-2020. 91058 14.50% XD 750 mL  $49.95 Score: 93/100. April 16, 2015 Top Rated Red Wine. Best Beef Wine Full Review
