Malivoire Ladybug Rosé 2014, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: A superb Niagara rose with a delicious, lip-smacking delight of field berry flavour! Dry, crisp, mouth-watering and joyous. This wine is alive in the glass. Medium-bodied, no heavy oak. This is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Gamay and Pinot Noir grapes from a gravity flow winery that farms sustainably. This is truly liquid refreshment, with a lovely sunset thrown into the glass as extra. This is a wide-ranging and all-embracing rose that will please many people, but especially you. Mas des Bressades Cuvée Tradition Rosé 2013, Costières de Nîmes, Rhône A.C., France: Field strawberries and spring rain and happiness in this lovely dry rose. Perfect for pate and babbling brooks and cold roast chicken sandwiches and short skits. The vineyards are located between the cities of Nimes and Avignon in southern France. Gérard Bertrand Côte Des Roses Rosé 2014, Languedoc, Midi A.P., France: This lovely southern French rosé is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah grapes. It's elegant, yet full-bodied for rosé and very satisfying. Freshness is everything in this wine. Grenache is ideal for rosé because it matures easily and quickly, has vibrant aromatics, yet keeps its zesty acidity for food. This grape has a short vegetative cycle and yields enough for production while keeping the fresh character. The bottle for this rosé was created in a competition for students at design schools in Paris. There is actually a rose shape and cut to the glass on bottom, as well as an elegant glass stopper on the top. pair with planked salmon or seared tuna.
