White Wine

Oenops Apla 2025, Greece: Apla means simple in Greek, and Oenops keeps this white fresh and uncomplicated. Malagousia, Assyrtiko and Vidiano go into the mix. Peach and a briny tang make it lively and refreshing. Grilled octopus is the classic match. Easy is often the hardest thing to get right. Food pairings: pan-fried sea bream, grilled octopus, feta and watermelon salad. Drink: 2026 - 2027 51115 12% XD 750 mL $19.95 Score: 92/100. Full Review Add to Shopping Cart

Red Wine

Luciano Arduini Classico Superiore Ripasso Valpolicella 2022, Veneto D.O.C., Italy: Ripasso gets extra richness when the young wine is passed over the leftover skins from Amarone. Luciano Arduini's Classico Superiore is plush and deep. Fig and cinnamon swirl through a velvety, generous red. Meaty lasagne is the pairing to try. It's Amarone's younger sibling, with all the family charm. Ripasso Valpolicella food pairings: meat-lover's pizza, meaty lasagne, grilled steaks. Drink: 2026 - 2028 12407 14.5% XD 750 mL $26.95 Score: 89/100. Full Review Add to Shopping Cart
