Red Wine

Brigaldara Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico 2019, Veneto D.O.C.G., Italy: Brigaldara dries part of the harvest on straw mats before pressing, the traditional method behind Amarone that concentrates sugar and flavour in the grapes. The result is a dense, brooding red loaded with dried fig, raisin, and a touch of clove. Alcohol runs high here, adding real weight and warmth that carries on and on. Firm tannin means it wants a rich, fatty dish to match its intensity. Pour it with braised short ribs or a well-aged wedge of Parmigiano. Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico food pairings: meat filled pasta with rich tomato sauce, onion tarte, meaty stews. Drink: 2025 - 2038 300012 16.5% XD 750 mL $64.95 Score: 96/100. July 2026. Full Review Add to Shopping Cart

White Wine

Santadi Villa Solais Vermentino Di Sardegna 2024, Sardinia D.O.C., Italy: Sardinia's sun and sea breeze suit Vermentino well, and Santadi's Villa Solais bottling shows it. Lemon and green apple arrive with a saline mineral edge underneath. Dry and refreshing, with bright acidity that carries through. A touch of white flower sticks around at the end. Serve it with grilled seafood or fresh oysters. Vermentino Di Sardegna food pairings: pan-seared sea bass, grilled calamari, aged pecorino. 121129 13.7% XD 750 mL $21.95 Score: 93/100. July 2026. Full Review Add to Shopping Cart
