Richemer Viognier 2024, Pays D'oc, Languedoc I.G.P., France: From the Pays D'oc, Languedoc wine region, Richemer 2024 Viognier is amazing value at $15. Dry, medium-bodied, rich and robust, the wine is fragrant with honeysuckle, peach and dried apricot. Serve lightly chilled with pork chops or sausages from the grill. Red Wine

Wending Home Up Above Wismer-Cuesta Pinot Noir 2020, Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Escarpment, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: From Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Escarpment wine region, the Pinot Noir grapes for Wending's Home Up Above Wismer-Cuesta 2020 were sourced from the Wismer-Cuesta Vineyard, located on the south side of Old Highway 8 between Vineland and Jordan on the Twenty Mile Bench. Look for ripe dark cherry, cranberry, pink and blue florals and subtle toasty oak spice flavours on this fresh and fruity PN with smooth tannins and a long and vibrant finish. Half of the wine was aged in puncheon and half in French oak barrique (16% new oak) for up to nine months. Very nicely done! Pinot Noir food pairings: roast leg of lamb, pheasant, roast duck.
