White Wine

Winzer Krems Ried Kremser Wachtberg Reserve Grüner Veltliner 2023, Kremstal D.A.C., Austria: From Austria’s Kremstal, the Winzer Krems Ried Kremser Wachtberg Reserve 2023 Grüner Veltliner shimmers medium yellow-green with silver highlights and opens with layered tropical notes of guava, honeyed blossoms and a whisper of apricot. On the nose it’s brightened by fine herbs, orange blossom petals, a hint of white pepper and fresh citrus oils. The palate is elegantly poised, mouth-watering and juicy, as honeydew melon ripeness meets a steely, saline undercurrent and a touch of spice on the finish. Exceptionally versatile, it’s delicious now—serve well chilled alongside creamy brie and chèvre or a zesty scallop ceviche. Grüner Veltliner food pairings: seafood dishes, smoked salmon on baguette, herbed quiches, brunch dishes. Drink: 2025 - 2028 15704 14% XD 750 mL $29.95 Score: 93/100. July 2025. Top Rated White Wine Full Review Add to Shopping Cart

Red Wine

Vecchia Cantina Riserva Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2017, Montepulciano, Tuscany D.O.C.G., Italy: Vecchia Cantina Riserva 2017 Nobile di Montepulciano spent 24 months in Slavonian oak casks followed by six months in bottle, allowing its considerable tannins to soften and flavors to harmonize. Pouring a deep garnet, it greets the nose with generous dark cherry, plum and tomato-leaf aromas intertwined with wild herb, smoked spice and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, the wine is rich, full-bodied and intense—bright red- and black-fruit notes meld seamlessly with savory herb nuances, all underpinned by refined, lingering tannins that carry through a smoky, spice-driven finish. Drinking beautifully now and through 2028. Try it with peposo alla fornacina (traditional Tuscan beef stew), braised short ribs or grilled rosemary lamb shoulder . Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano food pairings: meat lover's pizza, meaty lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs,. Drink: 2025 - 2028 36523 13.5% XD 750 mL $27.95 Score: 89/100. July 2025. Full Review Add to Shopping Cart
