Red Wine

Durigutti Mendoza Cabernet Sauvignon 2023, Mendoza, Argentina: Exuding a compelling array of mature, deep berry and indigo nuances, this vintage unfurls an intricate medley of dark fruit flavours accentuated by gentle traces of toasted nut essence, decadent cacao, and an elusive flinty note. Its robust structure is underpinned by a meticulously harmonised tannin framework that ensures the luscious fruit dissolves gracefully on the palate, culminating in a lingering finale of delicate floral whispers and a grounded, earthy resonance. Crafted without any animal-derived substances, it is equally delightful for immediate enjoyment or for further maturation well into the late 2020s and beyond. Pairs superbly with a savoury rosemary-braised lamb shank or a sumptuous wild mushroom and truffle risotto. Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: roast pork, grilled veal chops, roast chicken. Its vibrant bouquet unveils layers of succulent passionfruit and tropical nuances that speak to its prestigious origins, while understated hints of slate and mango add intriguing complexity. The finish is remarkably extended, making it a brilliant choice for both immediate enjoyment and continued pleasure over the next few years. Try it with a goat cheese salad or asparagus risotto.
