El Enemigo Chardonnay 2023, Mendoza, Argentina: El Enemigo 2023 Chardonnay, crafted by Alejandro Vigil and Adrianna Catena, is a bold and expressive high-altitude white from Gualtallary. A touch of toasty oak spice rounds out the fresh, textured palate, adding depth and intrigue. Hand-harvested and fermented in 500-liter French oak barrels (35% new) with native yeasts, the wine undergoes an extended aging process under a yeast cap for 12 months, allowing for remarkable complexity and evolution in the bottle.
