White Wine

Jean Perrier & Fils Cuvee Gastonomie Chignin Jacquère 2023, Savoie A.P., France: Originating from one of Savoie’s distinguished alpine cru sites, Chignin produces both red and white wines, though this white made entirely from the Jacquère grape is especially captivating. It reveals a bright, brisk acidity combined with succulent orchard fruit nuances, accented by a touch of tropical star fruit and a hint of white pepper spice. A subtle whiff of honeysuckle gracefully extends the finish, lending it commendable length and finesse. Approachable yet refined, this wine offers exceptional value without ever feeling overly simplistic. Pairs beautifully with soft cheeses or a saffron pasta with shrimp. Jacquère food pairings: soft cheeses, saffron pasta with shrimp, grilled chicken with herbs. Red Wine

Cellier des Princes Blason Du Prince Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2022, Rhône A.P., France: This wine is characterized by an opulent, velvety texture and a gentle smoky nuance. Its aroma unveils a vibrant mix of ripe blackberry and deep cherry, accented by hints of warm spices and a trace of kirsch. On the palate, it displays a robust, full-bodied presence with luxuriously soft tannins, offering layers of dark fruit that lead to a persistently robust finish—ideal for savoring now or for cellaring into the early 2030s. Pairs beautifully with meats from the grill or venison. Food pairings: braised meats, herbed steaks, venison.
