Cellier des Princes Blason Du Prince Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2022, Rhône A.P., France: This wine is characterized by an opulent, velvety texture and a gentle smoky nuance. Its aroma unveils a vibrant mix of ripe blackberry and deep cherry, accented by hints of warm spices and a trace of kirsch. On the palate, it displays a robust, full-bodied presence with luxuriously soft tannins, offering layers of dark fruit that lead to a persistently robust finish—ideal for savoring now or for cellaring into the early 2030s. Pairs beautifully with meats from the grill or venison. Food pairings: braised meats, herbed steaks, venison. White Wine

Lighthall Vineyards Pinot Gris 2023, Prince Edward County, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: The Prince Edward County Lighthall 2023 Pinot Gris is an exemplary Canadian take on an Alsatian-inspired style. Crafted through fermentation in French oak barrels to impart a notable depth and velvety texture, it is then finished in stainless-steel tanks to preserve its vivid tropical character. The wine presents enticing aromas of melon and succulent pear, leading to a palate enriched with toasted nut nuances and a layered, fruit-forward complexity balanced by crisp acidity. It’s superb when paired with citrus-infused crab cakes or pan-seared sea bass with a ginger–lime drizzle. Pinot Gris food pairings: grilled chicken breasts, pork tenderloin, salads and mild cheeses. Drink: 2025 - 2028 38300 12.5% XD 750 mL $24.95 Score: 90/100. May 2025. Top Rated White Wine Full Review Add to Shopping Cart
