Austin Hope Paso Robles Chardonnay 2022, California, United States: This bold, full-bodied Chardonnay embodies the best of sun-soaked days and cool nights. It strikes a harmonious balance with ripe tropical fruit, refreshing honeydew and citrus zest. Subtle hints of oak toast and spice add complexity without overwhelming the palate. A wine with great freshness, it promises to develop beautifully through 2027 and beyond. Red Wine

Henry of Pelham The School House Cabernet Merlot 2020, Short Hills Bench, Niagara Escarpment, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: From Short Hills Bench, Niagara Escarpment region in Ontario, Henry of Pelham School House 2020 is a vibrant and elegant, medium-plus-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot red wine blend generous with dark berry, cherry, crushed raspberry, dark chocolate, bell pepper and baking spice flavours silky-smooth on the palate. Yields were kept low to two-to-three tonnes per acre to concentrate this wine's vibrant flavours. Tannins are grippy, so decant one hour prior to pouring it with a juicy ribeye steak from the grill.
