Colab and Bloom Shiraz 2018, Mclaren Vale, South Australia, Australia: Wow, what a beautifully rich Shiraz, lush and luxurious on the palate with ripe blackberry, cherry compote, earthy cocoa and nutmeg spice flavours. Gerard Bertrand Réserve Spéciale Viognier 2018, Pays D'oc, Roussillon I.G.P., France: A lovely, juicy Viognier with floral, honey apricot, ginger aromas on the nose, dry with lemon zest, soft orange, ripe stone fruit and cake spice flavours on the palate. Great acidity for food. Pair with mild and medium curries. Viognier food pairings: grilled shrimp, lobster, crab cakes.
