Amastuola Primitivo 2018, Puglia I.G.P., Italy: Huge juicy purple plum and blueberry aromas and flavours in this supple, smooth, full-bodied Italian red wine. Primitivo is also known as Zinfandel in California. The Amastuola Garden Vineyard is located on a plateau 201 metres above sea level and is further assisted by a Mediterranean climate that works well for organic farming. This organic red wine uses winemaking methods that date back to Magna Grecia period, with the precious metals and nutrients in the soils lending nuance to this robust Italian red wine.
