Castelgreve Riserva Chianti Classico 2015, Tuscany D.O.C.G., Italy: A mouth-watering, medium-plus-bodied Chianti Classico made for rich, tomato and pasta dishes. Smooth and mouth-filling with crushed berries and earthy florals, roasted nuts, dusty herbs and a lingering dark berry finish with well-integrated tannins. Delicious now, but can cellar for a few more years. Try it with pasta or ragu. Chianti Classico food pairings: beef, mushroom risotto, blue cheeses on burgers. Domaine des Carteresses Rosé 2019, Tavel, Rhône A.C., France: Love this Tavel with aromas of fresh red berry, pink florals and pink grapefruit citrus on the nose. Bright and juicy strawberry, raspberry with lemon-lime zest, garrigue herbs and mineral notes that linger on the palate with a mouth-watering finish. Pair with veal medallions in mushroom sauce. Rosé food pairings: lox and capers, grilled salmon steak, grilled Ahi tuna.
