Julia Kelada rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

With my sommelier on vacation, and my new discovery of Burgundy wines, and.......not a very health budget, I set off to the wine store knowing that this was going to be like finding a needle in a hay stack. I had very little knowledge of what I was looking for and simply remembered key words like premier Cru and Givry...not neccisarily in the same sentence so when I stumbled across this wine I felt drawn to at least starting somewhere.

Burgundys I knew where going to be much lighter than I am used to enjoying but the fact that it was dry and medium bodied with a good showcase of fruits set me off to a good start.

On the nose I really felt like I was smelling warmed cherries, I felt like I was Wang through a forest on a warm day smelling the wild fruits of black currants, black berries and raspberries from within the hedgerow.

On the palate there were delicious cherries with zingy wild fruits, red currants, blackberries, the mouth became fuller and there was released a slight undertone of citrus and crab apple before a pepper spice introduction. Decent lengthy tannins.

Bottoms up!
