Julia Kelada rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

Oh delicious moments! His wine simply doesn't fail to evoke in you the whimsicle ability to transform yourself to another land and time. Romantic I'm sure, but I truly felt as if I could smell the sun coming off from the rolling Tuscan hillside and the dry earth smell from under the hedgerow !

This wine is rich and deep in colour, on the nose there are cherries, black berries and red currants, and then almost a sweet caramalised apple note with undertones of rosemary.

On the palate there were delicious rip cherries, rose hip and crab apple. Dry oak tones came forward before letting a leather and the dark chocolate note make its introduction. There was a peppery tone and finished with a dry mouthful of good length tannins! Delicious!

Bottoms up!

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
