Julia Kelada rated this wine as 96/100 with the following review:

well, well, well! what a pleasant surprise…a blind tasting usually leads me to panic, but this is a little gem..to me little gems are $25 and under and this comes in at $25! but seriously, this wine can hold its own!It has a magnificent deep rich colour any artist would be proud to paint with! On the nose there are berry and spice notes which make you almost want to devour this wine! On the palate there are red fruits…raspberries, cherries and then very quickly a woody, spicy almost liquorice flavour, at this point you are eagerly waiting for a second glass when it finishes on a long vanilla mouthful. A must buy!
Bottoms up!

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
