Philippe scored this wine: 96/100

This very rare Champagne is made of 100% Arbane old vines grape. Arbane is an old forgotten white grape since a long time. About one hectare grow in Champagne. Only 3525 bottles were made of the vintage 2005. This Champagne was disgorged March 9th 2010 MOUTARD PÈRE ET FILS was the only estate to grow Arbane old vines. But now i heard that AGRAPART ET FILS ESTATE has made a Champagne made of Arbane in 2013. MOUTARD also grow vines in Burgundy to make Crément de Bourgogne and Chablis. Golden Yellow color! The aromas of this Champagne is very different of the other Champagne. That's a very floral and herbaceous nose. This Champagne is very well balanced on the palate. Serve this rare Champagne at 5-6 degrees. Pair it with a Salmon Gravlax or lobster. This wine is ready to drink but can be age 2-3 years.

This wine is made of Frontenac Gris 100%. Vin de Paille( also know as Strohwein in Austria) mean Straw wine. The grapes are taken and dried by the sun. Beautiful amber color with aromas of dried fruits, caramel, honey, plum and clover. The palate is mellow and fresh. Pair it wit bleu cheese or Foie gras. Serve it at 6-8 degrees. Can be aged 13-15 years.

Light yellow color with a beautiful complex nose of citrus, lime, butterscotch, wood, spice and mineral. On the palate this wine has the same flavours with a good acidity. This fine wine can be aged 8 to 10 years. Serve it at 10-12 degrees. Pair it with your favorite soft cheese, fettuccine Maria Rosa or Salmon with dill.

This wine is made mainly of Petit Verdot (83%) and completed with 15% Merlot, 1% Teroldego and 1% Blaufrankisch. Dark purple color! Notes of Bleuberry, black currant, blackberry, floral and full spicy. Very long and full bodied on the palate! That's a fine wine to match fine meal. Pair it with a good Kobe Beef. Serve it at 15-17 degrees. Can be aged 12 to 15 years. ** this wine is unfiltered I suggest to decanter it to separate the sediment of the wine

Max Schubert made his first vintage in 1951. In 1994, he got 43 years of experience. Made of Shiraz (89%) also know as Syrah in France, completed by Cabernet Sauvignon (11%). Dark garnet color with notes of eucalyptus, truffle, green tea, plum, cedar, smoke, oak, bleuberry and dead leafs. This wine is complex, velvety, refined and the finish is long. A fine wine to match fine food like wagyu beef. Serve it at 15-17 degrees and you must absolutely decanting this wine in carafe at less 45 minutes before consumption. Enjoyable now.
