Philippe scored this wine: 89/100
This Georgian wine is one of the rare that I have had the chance to taste in my life.
Made of Pkatsiteli, a native grape from the vintage 2016, An unfiltered wine.
All this made a wine with a deep amber/orange color, almost like a white port.
With aromas of dried apricot, brown sugar, honey and orange peel.
The aromas riminded me a Sherry Amontillado.
The palate is full bodied with silky tannins.
The taste last very long and it's a complex wine.
I suggest to decanter it in carafe as it's an unfiltered wine to split sediment from wine.
Serve it between 8-10 degrees.
Can be aged 5-6 years
Pair it with strong cheese like 5 years old cheddar, with seafood or with india dishes.
