Best Ontario Sommelier Competition and Gala Dinner<\/strong>

There are only a few more days to get your tickets to the CAPS Best Ontario Sommelier Competition<\/strong><\/a> Gala Dinner and Celebration Party, being held at The Fifth on April 22nd!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The evening of celebration follows a full day of competition at The Fifth, with a great line-up of sommeliers competing for the title of CAPS Best Ontario Sommelier – 2012.<\/p>\n

The ticket price for the Gala Dinner and Celebration Party is an excellent value and includes the following:\u00a0 a cocktail reception, a three course dinner designed by Jay Suppiah of The Fifth, in conjunction with JP Challet of JP & Co and Ici Bistro for the food and wine pairings, wines matched to each course, a silent auction, gift bags for each diner, and an after-dinner celebration party.\u00a0 Tickets can be purchased through Sommelier Gala<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Don’t forget to join us for the afternoon as well.\u00a0 We have a great roster of competitors who will be competing in the Preliminary Round (closed to the public) in the morning for eligibility to compete in the Final Round.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Final Round of the competition runs in the afternoon (12:00 – 4:00 pm) and is open to the public.\u00a0 Observing the Final Round is a great opportunity to support this year’s 4 finalists and watch them strut their stuff.\u00a0 Make sure you join us for the walk-around wine tasting (4:00 to 6:00 pm).\u00a0 Both are free for attendees.<\/p>\n
